MICA pearlescent pigments are a unique material that allows you to achieve stunning colour effects and shimmering shades. The main component is the mineral mica, coated with special oxides with different refractive angles. When sunlight hits the pearlescent pigment, it is reflected differently from each layer, creating a stunning pearlescent sheen. It can also be added to epoxy resin, as its light weight and lack of metals in its composition mean that it does not settle, but remains suspended in the resin, creating beautiful effects.
