RESIN epoxy for deep casting with HARDENER
A composition of modified epoxy resins with very low viscosity. Used as component No. 1 in a two-component system (component No. 1 – resin composition, component No. 2 – hardener), designed specifically for deep casting of 5-15 cm. Used as a casting compound for tables, wood, decorations, mould casting and other handicrafts.

PROPERTIES:
- Transparent with UV protection against yellowing;
- Good adhesion to various surfaces;
- Reduced bubble formation;
- No characteristic odour;
- Short curing time;
- Good fluidity – self-levelling;
- Resistant to chemical reagents.
APPLICATION: The surfaces to be treated must be clean, solid and slightly rough. Surface moisture content must not exceed 10% (wood 5%). Do not apply to concrete surfaces until at least 28 days after the concrete has been laid. The optimum application temperature is +25 °C and the optimum humidity is 70%. Components No. 1 and No. 2 must be thoroughly mixed in a 3:1 ratio by weight. Tools and equipment must be washed immediately after use with an acetone-based solvent. Always wear safety goggles, gloves and a respirator when working. Detailed instructions for use are available at www.stafor.lv
DRYING TIME: Drying time at +25 °C is approximately 40 minutes. Full curing time is approximately 24 hours, depending on the thickness of the pour and the temperature.
STORAGE: Store in the original packaging at a temperature between +5°C and +25°C. The shelf life is indicated on the packaging.
EPOXY CANDLES FOR DEEP CASTING – HARDENER
Optically transparent liquid with low viscosity. Designed for use as a hardener with STAFOR liquid epoxy resins for deep casting (component No. 2).
Mixing proportions (by weight):
- STAFOR deep casting liquid resins (component No. 1): 3
- Curing agent for deep casting resins: 1
APPLICATION: Both components must be thoroughly mixed, preferably then poured into another container and mixed again. The mixture can be used for at least 30 minutes (at 25 °C). Detailed instructions for use are available at www.stafor.lv
APPLICATION LIMITATIONS: The recommended mixture and air temperature is 25°C. The maximum mixture and air temperature is 30°C.
TOOLS: All tools and equipment must be washed with acetone immediately after use.
SAFETY: Wash hands and skin with warm water and soap. Safety goggles, gloves and a respirator must be worn during work.
