Floor and terrace oil is designed for treating wooden floors, parquet, stairs, furniture, as well as terraces and other outdoor wooden surfaces, such as garden furniture, stair treads, walkways and wooden bridges. This is a natural linseed oil-based composition containing natural pine resin, rosin, waxes and special additives.

Suitable for both interior and exterior use. Also suitable for various types of wood – coniferous, deciduous, thermowood.

Linseed oil is deeply absorbed into the wood, impregnating it and protecting it from moisture, while the waxes on the surface form a protective layer that repels moisture and dirt. The oil emphasises the texture of the wood, creates a silky matt sheen and improves the wear resistance of the surface.

Tinting and UV protection: if you want a tinted surface, tinting is done before applying the oil. We recommend using NATURA linseed oil-based stain, which is fully compatible with oil for floors and terraces. A surface tinted with stain provides longer-lasting UV protection, protecting the wood from discolouration due to sun exposure.

Surface preparation: Before applying the oil, the surface must be sanded with a sander. It must be dry and free of dust, grease, oil and wax.

Application: The oil must be thoroughly mixed, its temperature should be +20 ºC, and the surface temperature should be +15-25 ºC. Apply to the surface and smooth with an applicator or flat brush. Apply a thin layer and allow to absorb for 20-30 minutes. Any oil that has not been absorbed must not be left on the surface — it must be removed with a clean cloth.

Polishing: Performed with a polishing machine using a white disc. Its purpose is to evenly smooth the oil layer and more thoroughly fix the wax composition in the wood structure, increasing the effectiveness of the protective layer. Polishing is not mandatory, but it significantly improves the quality of the coating and extends the service life of the surface, especially in areas of heavy use.

Drying: After the first coat has dried (6–8 hours), apply a second coat of oil. Depending on the temperature and humidity, the oil will dry completely in 2–3 days.

Consumption: depends on the type of wood, humidity, pre-treatment and other factors. On average, pine: 10–14 m²/l, oak: 16–20 m²/l

Cleaning: Cleaning tools with alcohol, warm water and soap.

Storage: Store in a cool place, protect from freezing. See packaging for shelf life.

Composition: specially prepared natural linseed oil, natural pine resin, natural rosin, waxes, special additives.
