LIMEWASH (CHALK) paint-paste

A classic mineral paint produced according to a traditional recipe used by master craftsmen, in which slaked lime serves as the binder. It is used as a protective and decorative coating for wood, brick, concrete, lime plaster and stone. Suitable for both interior and exterior use. It creates a durable finish that is resistant to weathering and UV radiation.

A classic mineral paint produced according to a traditional recipe used by master craftsmen, in which slaked lime serves as the binder. It is used as a protective and decorative coating for wood, brick, concrete, lime plaster and stone. Suitable for both interior and exterior use. Creates a durable finish that is resistant to weathering and UV radiation.

Properties:

  • Particularly suitable for facades and rooms with high humidity.
  • Prevents the growth of mould, fungi and wood-boring insects without the use of biocides.
  • Environmentally friendly, made from natural ingredients.
  • Improves the room’s performance and regulates air humidity.

Composition: lime, water, chalk, linseed oil, salt, natural pigments.

Application: dilute with water to a paint-like consistency. Apply with a brush, roller or spray. It is recommended to dampen mineral surfaces beforehand. Do not apply to cement-based plasters. Suitable for application to cement-lime plaster with a predominance of lime. It is recommended to apply 3 coats. Each subsequent coat should be applied after the previous one has dried, but no earlier than 24 hours later. For detailed information, see the instructions for use.

Coverage: 1 litre of undiluted paint paste / 2–5 m², depending on the roughness and porosity of the surface.

Storage: Store at a temperature not exceeding +35°C. Do not store in direct sunlight. Do not store for long periods in loosely sealed or incomplete packaging. Protect from freezing!
