STATERM EKO environmentally friendly heat transfer fluid CONCENTRATE
Environmentally friendly heat transfer fluid for heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, does not contain ethylene glycol, which is harmful to humans. Made from non-toxic propylene glycol, it is particularly suitable for heating systems in flats and houses. Protects the heating system from freezing. Extends the service life of the system.
TRIPLE PROTECTION AGAINST FREEZING, CORROSION AND DEPOSITS!
COMPOSITION: the heat transfer fluid contains monopropylene glycol, anti-corrosion additives, defoamers, stabilising additives and a number of multifunctional high-quality additives.
PROPERTIES:
- Contains a balanced complex of corrosion inhibitors and a number of multifunctional high-quality additives that protect steel, cast iron, copper, brass and duralumin;
- Does not contain nitrites, amines or phosphates;
- The heat transfer fluid protects the heating system from freezing at low temperatures;
- Resistant to overheating and oxidation;
- Protects the heating system from corrosion.
- Does not damage seals, cuffs and other elements of the heating system;
- Dissolves limescale deposits on pipe walls;
- Shelf life of at least 5 years, provided that the rules of use are followed.
APPLICATION: THE PRODUCT IS INTENDED FOR PROFESSIONAL USE! The contents of the package are diluted with demineralised or distilled water in accordance with the table.
| Percentage content in the water mixture | Freezing point of the mixture |
| 25 | -10°C |
| 30 | -14°C |
| 35 | -17°C |
| 40 | -21°C |
| 45 | -26°C |
| 50 | -32°C |
| 55 | -40°C |
| 60 | -48°C |
In natural circulation systems, a pre-diluted heat transfer fluid concentrate is used.
In forced circulation heating systems, the concentrate and water are thoroughly mixed using a circulation pump.
The system is then operated in accordance with the heating system operating rules.
After dilution, it is recommended to check the parameters of the finished heat transfer fluid using a refractometer or antifreeze meter.
If the concentrate content in the finished mixture is less than 35%, after the first 6 months of operation, it is recommended to add STATERM LONG-LIFE (1:100) to the heat transfer fluid to restore its properties.
We also recommend regularly cleaning the mechanical filter of the circuit into which the heat transfer fluid is poured during the first 15 days of operation.
WATER REQUIREMENTS: Distilled or demineralised water is recommended for dilution. If this is not available, ordinary tap water with a total hardness of up to 8.5 mg equivalent/l and a chloride content of no more than 100 mg/l may be used.
STORAGE: Store in a tightly closed container at a temperature above 5°C in a dry, well-ventilated room.
